Mary Redler, President, is a published writer who has utilized her talents in publicity, marketing, writing and event planning across many industries for over twenty five years. In addition to her work with Building Your Image, LLC, Mary is COO of CyberKnight Information Security Consulting, V. P. of Publicity for Medieval Scenarios & Recreations, Inc. and a partner at The Entrepreneur Center in Melville, NY.

Mary graduated Summa Cum Laude from Pace University with a B.A. Degree in Psychology. She has been selected as Small Business Person of the Year by the Nassau County Chambers of Commerce.


Ilana Mele, V.P. Design, is a graphic designer and published writer who has worked with various media in publicity. She is owner and chief designer at Ilana Leah LLC Design Services and Duchessa Handmade Jewelry.

Ilana graduated Magna Cum Laude from Molloy College with a B.S. Degree in Visual Art Education.

Welcome to Building Your Image, LLC. Our concept is simple. Most small to medium-sized businesses don’t have the staffing or skill set to plan and execute an effective publicity plan. They may also be operating under a strict budget, putting the large marketing and publicity firms out of their reach.

Building Your Image LLC is also a small business. I share many of the same concerns that you have, including an acute consciousness of how every step I take impacts the bottom line. I know that a one size publicity plan does not fit all businesses. My personal promise to you is that I will take the time to get to know you and your business, and I will only recommend strategies that fit with your desired image, your budget, your target audience and your comfort level.

My goal is to utilize every possible means of bringing positive attention to your business without overburdening your budget or your resources. That includes a wide range of traditional media, the internet, and some unique ideas that can create a synergy with all your other efforts. Some of the best publicity is FREE, and we can help you find ways to get your share.
